I don’t know why everyone expects me to be able to pick a good career for myself. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up to be a Pokemon Master. 

Hey, it pays $22-36 an hour. I can totally make shit up for 8 hours a day for that much money. 

I literally don’t know what I can say in cover letters any more to get people to hire me.

“I’ve managed 30+ people on a single project!”

“I’ve never been late in my life for anything work-related!”

“I BAKE REALLY GREAT MUFFINS OH GOD PLEASE HIRE ME” 

Being unemployed is gross, especially on the weekend when there’s nothing to apply for. I think I’m actually really bad at just relaxing and not worrying about things for a couple of days.

I was turned down for a job that I was pretty obviously qualified for and was related to my field. They interviewed me three times and then decided against it. I wasn’t dying to work there or anything, but what a buzzkill, huh? Just gotta keep going!

Job searches really are the devil, huh?
